2024 Kirby Contract Law Moot

The 2024 Kirby Contract Law Moot was held in person from Monday, 23 September to Thursday, 26 September. It took place at Victoria Law School, and the Grand Final occurred at the County Court.
Swinburne’s team included Xavier Alexander, Akshita Sharma, Peter Pfukwa, and Palak Sharma. They were coached by Helen Bird, her guidance was key in helping the team prepare.
The competition was tough. Teams tackled tricky contract law problems. It tested their legal knowledge, research skills, and ability to argue persuasively. Swinburne’s team stood out with their hard work and teamwork.
Swinburne’s participation shows the university’s focus on hands-on legal education. The team’s effort brought pride to their school. It’s a great example of what students can achieve with the right support.
